We transport horses across most of the U.S. from the midwest regions to the eastern coast. Our profile on Uship contains 100% Positive Feedback Ratings and we have other references upon request. We have been a Uship member and transporter since Nov 2008 and have already hauled for 37 people, not counting the ones outside of Uship!
Our equipment is also pictured on our profile page of the Uship site. We always keep our equipment "up to par" for trips such as, greasing axles, oil changes, tire pressure, check lights & brakes, etc. We also clean and disinfect the trailer after each trip.
We provide the hay (if none is available), stop every 3-4 hours for fuel, breaks, and to refill haybags and offer water. We always take our time loading, traveling, physical checks on the horses and unloading the horses - keeping the horses calm and safe is more important than arriving early at destinations especially when uncontrollable circumstances arise such as, mother nature and highway mishaps that may hinder regular travel time. We travel safely as possible carrying all animals. We strive to do the best job that we can in order to make the horses as comfortable as possible and to make the owners happy as possible. We will haul feed, hay, tack, equipment, whatever will fit in our compartments at no extra charge. We will promise to keep in touch along the way to let the customers know how the horses are doing along the way.
We have hauled our own horses from TX to KY for years. We also ship the ones we sell from our ranch to the people who purchase them. We started doing this for other people a few years back and now have discovered there's a lot more people out there that need tranportation for their horses than we thought. We were directed to the Uship site from someone we met along the way. Since we love to travel, shipping horses for people is right up our alley. We love to see the different breeds of horses & meet new people - especially to talk horse stuff!
We stay covered up with hauling jobs so, now we have 2 teams of drivers and want to welcome Reed Moore and his son, James. They are doing a great job and they are enjoying every minute of it!
We do not require a deposit or 1/2 the money down at pickup but there is a match fee to be paid when accepting the bid. We like to accept cash on delivery when the horse(s) arrive safely at their destination. A lot of people ask us when we ship for them, why we are so trusting, the answer is simple - the horse(s) are our collateral. Most horse owners are at the receiving end anyway and it's hard for them to get half the money to the pickup place in time and/or they most likely do not know those people to start with and don't want to send extra money to someone they don't know. We accept cash on delivery if a sudden trip or Paypal payment to our email address if there is enough time to receive funds transferred from Paypal to bank account, usually within 5 business days.
Contact us directly to request a bid or go to the Uship site and search for "Keenapp" under the service provider index link.
